This guide compares three Kyota 4D chairs we sell: the Yugana M780 at $7,999, the Yutaka M898 at $9,999, and the Nokori M980 at $11,999. All three run 4D rollers, recline to zero gravity, heat your lumbar, drive triple rollers under each foot, and carry the same 4-year frame, 2-year parts, 1-year labor warranty. The $4,000 spread buys three specific upgrades. This guide names them, then matches each chair to a body and a room.
The 30-second answer
- Yugana M780 ($7,999): the only chair here with heat inside the roller mechanism, so warmth travels with the stroke. Also the only one rated for users under 5 feet, fitting down to 4'8".
- Yutaka M898 ($9,999): its 4D mechanism works your glutes as well as your back, and Kyota's spec sheet gives it the tallest fit ceiling of the three at 6'7".
- Nokori M980 ($11,999): two 4D mechanisms massage your neck and your lower back at the same time. The only other dual-mechanism chair we sell, the Infinity Luminary Syner-D, costs $13,999.

Yugana M780: heat in the stroke, $7,999
Kyota lists the Yugana's heat locations as "Lumbar, Back Mechanism," and that second one is the point. Of these three chairs, only the Yugana warms the rollers themselves, so heat follows the stroke up and down your back instead of staying parked behind your waist. You also get 13 auto programs, one more than either pricier chair, plus memory slots for saving your own settings.
The calf system works harder than the price suggests: kneading rollers, oscillation, and air compression at three speeds. Twenty-four airbags with 34 cells cover arms, waist, hips, legs, and feet at four intensities, and the extended SL-track reaches from your neck to your glutes. The space-saving recline needs 2 inches of wall clearance, and at 216 lbs the Yugana weighs 88 lbs less than the Yutaka, which matters on delivery day.
The trade-offs: it fits users from 4'8" to 6'2", the lowest floor and the lowest ceiling here, and its 34 air cells are the fewest of the trio.
Yutaka M898: the household chair, $9,999
The Yutaka's 4D mechanism massages your back and your glutes with adjustable width, length, and intensity along a 49-inch L-track. Air coverage jumps to 56 cells across 24 airbags, five intensity levels at your shoulders, arms, waist, calves, and feet. Twelve auto programs come with six manual techniques, including Deep Shiatsu and 4D Shiatsu, and the footrest extends on its own to match your legs.
Comfort extras fill out the spec sheet: three-level lumbar heat, an air ionizer, Bluetooth speakers, USB charging, and calf kneading rollers with side oscillation. It reclines through three zero-gravity stages 2 inches from the wall.
Fit is its quiet advantage. Kyota's spec sheet on our product page lists a height range of 5'4" to 6'7", the tallest ceiling of the three. When two people of very different heights will share one chair, that ceiling is the number to check. The trade-offs: no heat in the rollers, 12 auto programs to the Yugana's 13, and a 304-lb frame to move into place.
Nokori M980: two mechanisms at once, $11,999
The other two chairs on this page run one mechanism, so it works one zone at a time. The Nokori's Syner-D system puts two 4D mechanisms on a split track: a dual-node roller works your neck and spine while a quad-node roller digs into your lower back and glutes at the same time. Its 49-inch Flex Track behaves like a J-track that opens as you recline, giving an S-track-style stretch with neck-to-glute reach.
The rest keeps pace with the price. TrueFit scans your body before the first stroke. Thirty-two airbags with 66 cells, the most here, handle compression. You run it by voice, touchscreen tablet, or a quick-control panel, save settings in three memory slots, charge your phone wirelessly, and let sleep mode wind the session down. Triple foot rollers spin at three speeds while the calf rollers knead and oscillate.
Plan around its physical demands: two zero-gravity positions need 4 inches of wall clearance, it fits users from 5'2" to 6'4", it stretches past 77 inches reclined, and it weighs 363 lbs. One more number for context: the only other dual-mechanism chair we sell, the Infinity Luminary Syner-D, costs $13,999, which makes the Nokori the less expensive route to simultaneous upper-and-lower massage.
The $3,999 route: certified pre-owned Yutaka
We also stock the Yutaka M898 Certified Pre-Owned, Grade A at $3,999. Kyota's own technicians put every CPO chair through a 37-point factory inspection, and it ships with a warranty included. If the new Yutaka's price is the sticking point, the CPO unit delivers the same back-and-glutes mechanism for $6,000 less.
How to decide
Measure the people first and the room second. Height does most of the sorting:
- 4'8" to 5'2": Yugana. It is the only chair here rated below 5'2".
- 5'2" to 5'4": Yugana or Nokori. Kyota's spec sheet starts the Yutaka at 5'4".
- 5'4" to 6'2": all three fit, so pick on features: heat that travels with the stroke means Yugana, the tallest ceiling for a shared chair means Yutaka, two mechanisms working at once means Nokori.
- 6'2" to 6'4": Yutaka or Nokori. The Yugana tops out at 6'2".
- 6'4" to 6'7": Yutaka, which Kyota's spec sheet rates to 6'7".
- Under 4'8" or over 6'7": none of these three carries a rating for your height. Call or text 806-547-1998 before you buy anything, and we will tell you straight whether a chair we sell actually fits you.
If two people will share the chair, run both heights through the brackets and keep the chairs that fit both.
Then check the room. Reclined, the Yugana runs 74 inches long, the Yutaka 73, and the Nokori just over 77, and the Nokori wants 4 inches behind it where the others need 2. Delivery weights run 216, 304, and 363 lbs, all covered by free insured shipping.
All three carry our 60-day money-back guarantee, and financing is available. Still torn between two? Call or text 806-547-1998 with your height, your trouble spots, and your doorway width. We sell all three chairs, so our only interest is the one you keep.
